The More Things Change
After playing a bit of phone tag, I finally got in touch with Jeff from that one company I liked so much this morning. It’s been about six weeks since I last worked with them, and I’ve been trying to balance my eagerness to add their samples to my portfolio with an appropriate level of respect for their space. Needless to say, I was both relieved and grateful to find yesterday’s message from Jeff waiting on my cell phone this morning.

Parking Ticket Reduced To Warning!
I just found out that the parking ticket I got at shoreline last week has been reduced to a warning, which suits me just fine. I was pretty ticked about the whole thing in the first place, and I probably would have raised a stink if it wouldn’t have been wiped out like this.

Running Local Errands
It was bright and sunny when I left the Ballard Reading Room this afternoon. The blue skies punctuated a serious chill. The setting made for a perfectly enjoyable walk home. Spring is still a good distance away, but days like today stimulate my anticipation.
