Preparing To Move

Today’s Highlights

First order of duty for our day was to hit the Seattle Goodwill for their Literacy Book Sale, which happens about twice a year. Thousands of books are strewn about a back room for these sales, piled on and under tables, reaching from wall to wall. There’s no sorting order at all, so it’s just one great big free-for-all. And with all price for all books at $1.49 or less, it gets to be a madhouse!

Shopping For A New Host

One of the things that’s been hovering near the top of my list for months now is the task of researching a new hosting company for this website. I’ve really enjoyed my interactions with my current provider, but they don’t support all of the CGI scripts I need in order to implement the features I’m wanting for my site. I know I need to make a change.
