Gallery Installation

I’m continuing to work out my personal creative demons. I’m blowing the dust off of old Things To Do lists and slowly scratching items off. Goals that relate to photography are getting more and more attention, and the reservations that have kept me from doing what I’ve always wanted to do become less impressive with each passing moment.

MT-Blacklist

I know that I’ve been neglecting this site over the last couple of months, but I still wasn’t expecting to get spammed quite a bad as I have over the last 24 hours. When I woke up this morning and checked my personal blog I found myself with 2655 Comments! Sure, this wouldn’t be so bad if they were legitimate comments, but these were actually just “spam” comments that mostly link to porn and online gambling sites.

New Seattle

I finally did it! And I can’t believe that I finally did it, either! After talking about it for so long it’s hard for me to actually believe that the image of Seattle at the bottom of my site’s homepage has actually been updated. I tried to keep the image size to a minimum, but it still weighs in at 32k, which is a good deal more than I would normally allow. Since this is my own personal website, however, I’m willing to make an exception.

Photoblog Updates

I ended a good bout of procrastination this morning by finally uploading two images to my new photoblog section. After all of the work I’ve put into getting my photoblog up and running I really don’t want to neglect it. I’ve only been developing my own film since last Tuesday (04.20.04), and there’s only one class assignment has come due, so I’m really not that far behind.

My Monthly Archives Template

One of the things I love about working on this site is that I can go back to it at my leisure and work on its development. Sure, it would be nice to just have everything up and working all at once, but I also appreciate the development process. I’m learning a lot.

Added “MTEntryIfComments” Plugin

I’ve done a little more tinkering with the site. No big deal, really. It’s just a little touch of fun that I’ve been procrastinating on.

How’s My Saturday?

Depending on how you choose to look at it, either I’ve hit a new personal low, or I’ve quite possibly made the treasure hunting score of the summer.

Getting Started

According to The Seattle Times, the weather in the greater Seattle area is supposed to reach 64&deg today (17.8&degc). I’ve got my shorts on for the first time this year, and I hope to spend a good portion of my day out and about. We’ve already gone out for coffee (which has slid too much lately and really has to stop), and taken Willy out to our local dog park.

Minor Improvements

I was keenly aware that my energy had shifted from the very moment I woke. My phantasmal alarm clock chimed in at round five o’clock Continue reading

Transition Complete!

After realizing that my site had propagated last night, I controlled the urge to jump right in and update some of the backend info that had been jury-rigged to get my new server up and running. I’ve been working on this site pretty intensely, so just decided to let it rest Continue reading
