It’s The Day Of The Dead!

,and a perfect day for Mary’s super-special stew! Yep, there’s nothing quite as cozy as warming your hands with a piping hot bowl of homemade stew and watching the rain outside your window. Some baby red potatoes, onion, mushrooms, baby carrots and garlic, add some Lipton’s Onion Soup mix and a can of Cream of Celery, and then let the beef simmer until the succulence permeates the whole apartment. Now just pull those little yellow butter flake rolls out of the oven… Mmm-mmm!

Ryan Casey’s Cameo

One of the first things I did this morning was to make a small, but much needed, adjustment to my homepage. The Amazon button I created for myself was always placing itself at the bottom of the page, and I wanted it to appear just under my Top Ten. It took a little while to see what was going on with the code, but I finally got it nailed down. It’s extremely satisfying to correct something like this when you’ve thinking about it and looking at it for months.
