OK, I’ve been over my head since school started–classes, add/drops, club activities, student newspaper stuff, whatever–but the call I had today is just too cool to not blog about.
I got a call on my cell today from a voice I’d never heard before. The man asked if I did assisting for photography. He then went on to explain that he’s got a stock photography shoot this Saturday with about eighty people at Shoreline Stadium and that he needs a few assistants, and that he got my name off of ASMP‘s Assistant List!
Too cool. Any doubt about the value of joining ASMP as a Student Affiliate has been put to rest. I haven’t really been as much as I’d like to with ASMP, but this will give me the opportunity to increase my involvement. And I can’t wait to see what Saturday looks like!
