Starting at BECU

There are far too many complications with the job over at Shawk for me to accurately convey in this brief posting, so I won’t be going into all that. I’ll just say that the job went sharply sideways, and that I need more than four billable hours of work in a week. (That just goes with the glamorous life of a freelancer.)

Today I’m starting a new gig over at the Boeing Employee Credit Union (BECU). Yahoo Maps tells me that I’ve only got about a twenty-minute commute to this Tukwila assignment, so I’m guessing that more realistically translates to about thirty to thirty-five minutes of driving time. I understand that this job will involve a lot of mid-level Photoshop work, which reminds me of working at Cascade Bank last summer. I don’t know too much beyond this at the moment.

Hey, what’s this, 2 jobs in 2 weeks?
At least you are landing the jobs, that’s a good thing. I’m glad to have found this site again, I’ll keep it bookmarked (I’m not up to RSS just yet) so we can stay in touch.
Maybe I’ll see you this weekend? We’ll see.
