Where’s Yuki?

It’s nearing 8 o’clock in the morning. I’m alone sitting in the computer lab, waiting for Yukiko, my “Peanut Butter Buddy” (don’t ask), to arrive so we can finish working on the report we’re supposed to turn in for our Business Marketing class this morning. Yuki was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago, so I’m beginning to wonder if there was some miscommunication that means she’s on another part of campus, wondering where the hell I am.

This quarter has really flown by. I still have a lot to do, but I’m not in a twist about it all quite yet. Maybe I should be, but I’ve been making a conscious decision to not stress about my grades at this point I keep reminding myself that, although my GPA is important, it’s not the reason that I’m at school. I need to keep things in perspective, and that means I have to separate myself from the mesmerism associated with academia. I want more than what that offers.
Whew! Yuki just arrived. Got to go!
