I know that I’ve been neglecting this site over the last couple of months, but I still wasn’t expecting to get spammed quite a bad as I have over the last 24 hours. When I woke up this morning and checked my personal blog I found myself with 2655 Comments! Sure, this wouldn’t be so bad if they were legitimate comments, but these were actually just “spam” comments that mostly link to porn and online gambling sites.
MT-Blacklist to the rescue! It really took very little time to download and install this powerful plug-in for Movable Type. It didn’t take much longer than that to remove all of the spam and get my blog back to normal.
This site may not be as active or as popular as my other one, but it’s still my favorite. I particularly enjoy knowing that only a select few know about it.
