After my four day weekend.
Thanksgiving weekend is officially over and I’m back at school. I had a great time at my mom’s house this year. It was quite stress-free. I took a number of photos that I hope to publish to this site in the near future. I would’ve written about the holiday earlier, but there was too much going on this last weekend and too much coming up this week!

Brooke Parrott and the Mirabeua Room
I went out on Sunday night and watched a friend from my Entrepreneurship class perform at a little club on Queen Anne called, “The Mirabeau Room.” From class I learned that Brooke Parrott is in the process of starting her own record company. She passed me a CD of six of her songs last week, so I’ve learned that this learned that this little songbird has got a serious set of pipes. It was truly my pleasure to hear her perform live.

My New 50mm Nikkor Lens
I broke down today and spent a hundred bucks on a new 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor lens for my D-70. The 18-70mm zoom lens is great, but the limitations associated with a maximum aperture of f/3.5 at 18mm have been apparent since that first morning I took my new camera out for a spin. If there’s one thing this quarter has really taught me it’s that I need to protect my free time as judiciously as possible. Otherwise, I’ll find myself in a rush, unable to spent my time behind the lens.

Meet Paul
OK… this is Paul Nissan, and he’s one of the people that I’m always running into in the darkroom at Shoreline. Besides the fact that he’s on his way to proving to the world that he’s a brilliant photographer, he’s also one of the few people on campus that can keep up with me sense of humor without getting his panties in a bunch!

MT-Blacklist
I know that I’ve been neglecting this site over the last couple of months, but I still wasn’t expecting to get spammed quite a bad as I have over the last 24 hours. When I woke up this morning and checked my personal blog I found myself with 2655 Comments! Sure, this wouldn’t be so bad if they were legitimate comments, but these were actually just “spam” comments that mostly link to porn and online gambling sites.

Sitting In Class
I’m sitting in my Photography class right now, showing off my new camera. (For the amount it put my in debt, I’d better.) I couldn’t resist showing how easy it was for me to get these images online. This is … Continue reading
