I put in a slightly longer day at work than I have been lately, but that’s no big deal to me. There’s just a lot going on there right now, so I’m needed. I’m glad to be of use. The people at this assignment are a real pleasure to work with, which makes me want to help them out that much more.
Not much going on at the home front tonight. I spent most of the evening in my head while holding the sofa down and flipping channels. Not the most effective distraction, but it will have to do. I’m watching Patton on AMC with Mary at the moment, and we’re just about to hit the sheets.
I’m really looking forward to this weekend. The forecast calls for rain, which is a nice change from the heat and humidity of the last week. I hope to spend time in the darkroom working on some of those photos of the Locks. I hope to spend a little time being quiet.
