Nine Hours

Yeah, Baby! I just did a full nine hours over at Shoreline. I got my assignment finished for Wednesday and then talked Maureen (one of the students there) to walk me through the film development process. I developed my first roll of film and even made a crappy contact sheet, which may be crappy, but it’s mine!

It’s another “Kid Weekend” over here at Mi Casa… which is actually a misnomer. Kelsey turned seventeen back on March 28th, so I hold few reservations for regarding this young woman as an independent young adult. To be honest, this makes things a lot easier for me. I’m not exactly famous for my interactions with kids.

Still Blooming In Ballard

Spring is still coming on stong here on my side of the world. Mary and I have been back and forth to the coffee shop a few times today, so we’ve keenly aware of the improving weather. It was kinda’ dismal this morning, but now the sun is out and it’s really starting to warm up outside. The air has that after the rain smell to it, and I was particularly aware of the smell of wet beauty bark along our city sidewalks.
