Yeah, this really sucks. I drove all the way out to Shoreline just to find that the scheduled lab attendant had called in sick. (It happens, but I can’t help but suspect that this is actually a case of a 79° fever.) I ran into Chris, and he said that he wasn’t able to find anyone else to watch the lab, which ultimately means everyone’s just S.O.L.. I even tried calling the school throughout the day to see if there was a shift change, but there’s no answer in the lab, so that’s the end of that.
I thinking about hitting the darkroom again tomorrow, which also happens to be Opening Day of boating season. I want to develop a roll of film from this week and make a few contact sheets, but I’m much more interested in making enlargements of some of the negatives I already have. At the same time, I’ve already scouted out some great locations for photos, and I know I’ll hate myself if I miss out on tomorrow’s photo opportunities. Mary will be working tomorrow, and the lab isn’t open on Sundays, so I guess I’ll have to figure out what’s more important to me. Maybe I can just divide my time between the two. I dunno.
