Parking Ticket Reduced To Warning!

I just found out that the parking ticket I got at shoreline last week has been reduced to a warning, which suits me just fine. I was pretty ticked about the whole thing in the first place, and I probably would have raised a stink if it wouldn’t have been wiped out like this.

In case you don’t already know, Shoreline has machines that issue daily parking permits for a buck. The only problem is that these machines don’t always work. Even worse, the staff and security know that these machines are temperamental, but that doesn’t stop them from passing out parking tickets like candy. So, when I got a ticket within a short amount of time of parking, I felt justifiably upset about this form of entrapment. I’ve been thinking of ways to draw attention to this issue, like making it the theme of my next photography assignment, but now I feel I can just let it go. (I really don’t want or need more drama right now, thanks.)
Of course, now that I realize I’m going to be spending so much time in the darkroom, I really do need to just buy myself a quarterly parking permit.
