You know how I’ve been working so hard on this site lately, and talking about telling my family about it? Well, at the end of a long phone call with my sister, Kellee, I decided to let her in on it. Explaining that I wanted to be the one to tell Mom, I swore her to secrecy. She’s not famous for keeping secrets, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how long it takes for the rest of the family to find out about it.
Kellee is eight years older than me, so we weren’t close enough in age to share the experiences other brothers and sisters might. I guess I haven’t been too close over the last few years, either, which isn’t to say that there’s any lack of love between us. She and her family live down south, in Puyallup, which is a good forty minutes drive from my place. I don’t get down her way nearly enough, but hopefully the photography thing will help to change that a bit. Well, that and this site.
Hopefully, she’ll get the idea of what this site is about, and it will help to bring us a little closer. I guess I really don’t quite know what to expect from this recent turn of events, but it should be interesting.
