Checking my cell this morning, I found a message from Jeff. He apologized about the lateness of his return call. Yesterday was his first day back in the office since Spain, and things were hectic.
The short story is that I’m going to be in a holding pattern a little longer than I first expected, so I’ll be taking any jobs that come my way. Since yesterday’s job opportunity was filled by another candidate, well, that sucks. Regardless, I’m going forward, hoping that I can find a few things to bring in a paycheck while I wait for the situation at WD to stabilize. Obeying the first rule of bondage, I’m not planning on getting myself into anything I can’t get out of.
On a happier note, Jeff also said that he’s got samples for me to add to my book. Awesome!
