I took a little break from the web stuff in the early part of the day and went out and around Ballard. I needed the break.
I took the camera out with me and snapped off a few photos, but it’s been raining off and on all day long, so it was a bit of a challenge to take pictures without getting the lens wet. It sure would be nice to have a better lens for some more personal shots. Even better, I’d like to have a serious digital so I could forgo the processing time. All in good time.
I went out to lunch by myself today. It felt weird. I’ve grown so accustomed to involving Mary in my little details that I felt very selfish about going out on my own. Hmm. Not quite sure what to say about that one.
One big highlight of my day was to go out and buy new windshield wipers. The wipers that have been on my car are definitely the worst I’ve ever seen. They’d squeak across that windshield and the blades would flap around. Thanks to a healthy dose of procrastination, I just didn’t get around to changing them until today. What a difference this makes. Not only is the sound downright soothing, but now I can actually see where I’m going when it rains.
I was back to the web development in the bottom half of my day. I don’t have much time left.
