BallardWorks Grand Opening

Last night marked the grand opening of BallardWorks, a formidable three-story building that’s been specifically renovated to provide for Ballard’s artistic community. The top two floors of the 14,200 square foot building are divided into 21 freshly-painted spaces of varying shapes and sizes. Concurrently, at BallardWork’s street level, the Sev Shoon Art Center and Elizabeth Gadbois’s Emerald City Portraits opened their new facilities.

About My Day

Well, I’ve noticed lately that it’s getting lighter much earlier and staying light much longer. Today, however, was bright, sunny and even warm! People were walking around without coats, were seen wearing shorts, and even seen riding their bikes.

Sleep Deprivation, Site Improvements
& Incessant Rambling

I didn’t sleep at all well last night. I fell asleep after midnight and woke to the typical predawn rousing. Consequently, I’ve been feeling that certain kind of special that accompanies sleep depravation. No big deal, really… it’s not like I had to operate heavy machinery.
