Out & About Thrifting

The drive downtown was nice, giving Mary and I the opportunity to watch the little snow flurries as they swirled across the road. The weather reports assure us that the snow will give way to clearer skies and lower temperatures, but the gentle snowfall stirred far greater daydreams of havoc.

Thrifting has been a real bust for the last few months, and today was no exception. I associate the less-frequent availability of my usual scores to seasonal considerations. I’m looking forward to the traditional Spring-cleaning. (Of course, keeping my current collection in mind has me looking for less now, too.)
As I was saying, although today’s survey of Goodwill served as a welcome distraction, it proved to be more practically fruitless. My sole acquisition was a copy of Getting It Printed, which turned out to be a duplication of effort. I really do try to avoid making duplicate purchases like this, but until I get a Palm Pilot so I can review my collection on the fly there’s little I can do about it. Anyway, I’m not going to lose any sleep over my 99
