After spending the first half of the day working on mock-ups I soon realized that there was a shortage of work for me to do. Accordingly, Jason has told me that I may be free for the rest of the day. Knowing that the MSN so-and-sos are making key decisions about the project today, he’s also assured me an abundant workload tomorrow.
While this wouldn’t normally be of any real concern to me, I do realize that any loss in today’s hours could effectively wipe out the overtime I accrued while working this weekend. I don’t know if HL2 is expecting to release me for the rest of the day without compensation, or if I will continue to bill my hours.
This is an issue for my agency to resolve. For now, I’m just waiting to see if there’s any more work for me, or if I get sent home.
