I was coming out of the gym this morning, passing by Tully’s Coffee, when I saw a guy sitting inside, leaning over his PowerMac (laptop), stirring elements in Photoshop with a 4×6″ Wacom tablet. He was sitting by himself with his headphones on, working on a photo that looked like a serious fashion ad spread for a magazine. I thought to myself that that looks about right.
Combining tasks, Mary and I went for a little drive downtown late in the morning. I took pictures of the two other billboards I’ve worked on, knowing that I will want to add these to my portfolio. While I’m thoroughly pleased with one of the photo of one of the ads, there was too much backlighting for the other to come out well. I’m planning on driving back out a little later toady when the sun has changed position.
Once we got downtown we headed over H2L and found best bus stops I’ll need to be using. It may seem a little extensive to be taking these kinds of precautions, but the attention I’m giving to my morning schedule requires it. Anyways, we were already downtown, so it just took a few minutes.
