Well, my expectations for that roll of film that I’ve been waiting for couldn’t have met greater disappointment. I waited for a week and a half for the development, and ten more minutes in line today, just to learn that something had gone wrong with the film! The roll was completely blank.
This really sucks. I’d been deliberate about the composition of every shot (I’d thought) I was taking. With such a thoughtful effort, I was really hoping that I would have something good to show right now. Instead I got a perfectly honest reminder of just how little I actually know about real photography, and how far I have to go.
Oh, well. It’s cool. I gotta’ start somewhere.
