After morning study, I caught up on some reading. I’ve been looking at a lot of online articles that talk about using Movable Type for purposes other than blogging. I’ve recognized some real value in what I’ve found so far.
Today, after refreshing myself on the available documentation, I began the process of transferring this web site to my new host. I’ve been backing-up and exporting files, making notes on my configuration settings, adding MySQL databases to my new space, etc..
I should have my new site set up tomorrow. It’ll be interesting to see how difficult it is for me to set up the new blog now that I have some experience. I hope it all goes smoothly.
