I was invited to a friend’s wedding yesterday, out on Lake Tapps. Amanda’s one of the bartenders from the Old Pequliar, so it was attended by a warm group of family and friends that included a number of familiar faces. Strategically planned for June 21st, which happens to be summer solstice, it was a charming little ceremony. Of course, I was in a completely different mindset than the rest of the guests.
As you may guess, it was my sincerely honor to take responsibility for the wedding photos. Being my first time, I gave my role due consideration. There was no lack of things to shoot, so as others spent their time getting to know one another and knocking back the liquor, I was frantically buzzing around, composing shots and framing the moments.
Amanda and Jez were married by an ordained Elvis impersonator
