My God, Sarah is so kind! When I made my cameo over at the OP yesterday evening, she surprised the hell out of me by giving me with an unopened, unregistered copy of Office for OS X! Holy crap!!! I mean, I know that nobody else really got it, but for me that’s so damn cool, I mean waaay up there on the geek points! (Yeah, I’m ecstatic!)
Oh, and how does this fit in with economy? Beyond the fact that this kind of behavior gets people free tech support for life, there’s something that should definately be noted about the source of this gift. And the timing of this act of thoughtfulness is perfect!
I’ve been deep in the study lately. I am continuing the task that has been so neatly presented. Progress is slow, but steady, and the inspirations have been deep and natural.
I don’t care about having the most toys. I don’t care about being adored by the masses. I’ve read The Preacher, and know enough vanity from temporal pleasures and ephemeral comforts to know that I want to forget. I can’t be more or less than what I am. Always dissatisfied with available themes, it would appear that I have been groomed to question the great mortal authority.
The question has become, “What’s worth dying for?”
