Global Warming

I hate to just talk about the weather, but it has been deceptively beautiful over here in Seattle; I’ve been enjoying the sunshine and freezing my ass off. All of the plants are starting to bloom, but it’s too early for them. It’s a precious dichotomy, and a reminder that change is around the corner.
By the way, whether you can appreciate it or not, I’m still working on this site. I’m still massaging little lines of code into place on what you can see, while slowly building the sections which are presently inaccessible. Most recently, I’ve been consumed in my pursuit of the home page’s weather feature–only to realize that I may not have been doing anything wrong on my side, and that the server for the source feed is currently down. I’ll have to leave things as they are for now.
Also, I’ve purchased the URL www.sbpicklefish.com for the Picklefish web site. It’s just set up as a redirect for now, but it’s a lot easier to remember than the full URL. I’ve been getting plenty of positive feedback on it. I’m sure it will get better exposure as the season come around.
The rest of this week I’ll be continuing to focus on the ISD site. I’ve already folded most of the original wireframe from the portfolio site into it, but there’s a lot of copy edit and content management issues that need to be refined. I’m excited about what I can offer as core services.
Oh, yeah, speaking of work stuff, it turns out that I have an opportunity to expand those core services to include labels and stickers. Way fun!
